Alanna Grey has been working in California as a licensed physical therapist since 2009. Originally from the east coast, she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences and Microbiology from Penn State. Having always known she wanted to be a PT, Alanna immediately enrolled at Columbia University in Manhattan, NY where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. While at Columbia, Alanna had the unique opportunity to travel to Australia and learn manual therapy techniques which she applies to her treatments today.
As a former collegiate athlete, she knows the passion and dedication required to perform at a top level. Sustaining injuries herself, she is also familiar with the frustration and desire to return to sport and activity after an injury. She believes in treating the entire person as a whole, and not just the localized injury in order to alleviate pain, regain function, and prevent further injuries from happening. Alanna believes in utilizing a multi faceted approach which combines soft tissue massage, joint mobilization, movement analysis, neuromuscular re-education, pilates, therapeutic exercise, and taping to ensure that each patient reaches their maximum potential and recovery. She has worked with patients from age 3-96 and enjoys treating individuals of all ages.
In her spare time, Alanna enjoys staying active whether it’s playing soccer, competing in triathlons, or hiking. She loves travelling and is always looking forward to her next adventure.
Lindsay Mercier has been practicing physical therapy in the South Bay since 2009. She graduated from University of Colorado with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009 and in 2015 became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Growing up in Washington state, she developed a love for the mountains and fresh air, as well as playing soccer and basketball. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and continues to frequently visit friends and family in Arizona.
She has a passion to help individuals return to participating in life and recreational activities with greater ease and less pain. When she isn’t spending time with her patients, she is hiking in the mountains, walking her dog Olive, practicing yoga or camping in locations far from the urban jungle.
Niccole attended California State University of Dominguez Hills which earned her a bachelors degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy coupled with a biology minor; previously gaining an associates degree in physical education. Following this, she was given the opportunity to become a certified Pilates instructor under the tutelage of Jill Cassady at Pilates Technique Certification Program.
In Niccole’s time away, she loves enjoying the company of close friends and family including her 3 pups, outdoor activities and most of all relaxation. As a cancer survivor, Pilates and the support of loved ones has given her a new outlook and an affinity for helping others.
