Vlessyn Diaz received her Bachelor’s in Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2016. After graduating, she worked as a physical therapist aide at a sport rehab outpatient clinic in Southern California before she continued her education at Columbia University in New York City. While in graduate school, she discovered her love of pilates and rehab while she was recovering from nerve impingement and shoulder pain from her scoliosis. She graduated in 2021 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and has experience working in multiple outpatient orthopedic clinics, but always enjoyed incorporating pilates focused exercises throughout her career. One year after she graduated, she decided to pursue obtaining her pilates licensure and became certified in late 2023/early 2024. Now, she works part time as a pilates instructor using her physical therapy background to further assist her clients.
In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, spending time with her fiancé and her Aussiedoodle, Winnie.
